If Not Dieting, then what?

I recently completed the training for Health Professionals in this approach to healthy weight management.

Dr Rick Kausman, author of the book, "If Not Dieting, then what?" has developed this approach to achieving and maintaining your healthy weight in answer to the demand from patients for an approach that works long term.

Many of us, at some time in our lives, have had challenges with maintaining a healthy weight.  As a result you might have tried a particular diet (and Lord knows there are plenty to choose from).  You might have even had some success in the short term (or maybe you didn't) and ultimately you might have ended up back where you started.  Or like many, you have actually regained more weight that you lost.  Does that sound familiar?

The "if Not Dieting" approach recognises that there are many pieces to the puzzle of achieving and maintaining your healthy and comfortable weight. 

Achieveing and maintaining your most healthy weight is not simply about education on fats and carbs or counting calories.  If it was that simple then why do so many people struggle with their weight?

As one of only a few naturopaths who have been trained by Dr Rick Kausman in the application of this approach, I can help you to successfully apply and integrate this approach to healthy weight management.  There are no "programmes", no "diets", no weigh ins.  Just advice and coaching to develop a new relationship with the food you eat and enhance your physical and emotional wellbeing.  Clients who have "tried every diet under the sun" find it revelationary and achievable.
